Nurses who further their education and improve their knowledge are able to provide a higher level of care for patients and begin to climb the career ladder. Experienced nurses who have completed the relevant qualifications can improve their chances of becoming a specialist nurse or a consultant nurse. Specialist and consultant nurses earn a significantly higher salary and have an increased level of responsibility for patients in their remit.

This is a postgraduate program and the minimum eligibility for admission to which is the successful completion of graduation in a relevant discipline, such as, BSc Nursing from a recognized institute. Work experience is desired.
